WELCOME! 

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog! My name is Lena Adams, and I’m a 21-year-old college student from Cibolo, Texas. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in History at Liberty University, with plans to graduate in 2027! This summer, I will be spending a little over a month with the World Race, spreading the Gospel in Jamaica! In October 2025, Jamaica was absolutely devastated by Hurricane Melissa. I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to spread the hope of Jesus to people who need it.

MORE ABOUT ME

I want to give y’all a little bit of a backstory as to what has led me on this mission. I grew up in a Christian household with two parents who love the Lord and have devoted their lives to leading my brother and I into a relationship with Christ. My dad served in the US Army for most of my life, and because of that, I got to travel a lot as a kid! I spent most of my younger life overseas, in countries including Fiji, Laos, and Germany, and have had the opportunity to experience a lot of the world. With these experiences, my eyes have also been opened to the immense need there is for the Gospel around the world - impoverished, desolate, and hopeless places; many people following false gods, but all with the common disparity of craving something REAL. After experiencing the radical, transformative, and restorative love of Jesus for myself, there is nothing I wish more than to share what I know to be real with others.

MY HOPE 

During my time in Jamaica, we will be devoting our efforts primarily to disaster relief following the effects of Hurricane Melissa. I have many hopes for the effects that this work will have. First, that it would give me an even deeper understanding of the radical love of Jesus. Secondly, I would see lives transformed and souls changed by the restoring character of the Father. Lastly, that the hopeless would come to know true HOPE in their creator.

SUPPORT! 

As I enter into this mission field, there is nothing that I would appreciate more than support from those around me! My first request was that you would keep me and this mission in your prayers - pray that I would have courage in the presence of fear, wisdom to share in the right ways, and a heart of servitude throughout my time there. Pray for the team I go with - for the health and safety of all of us going, and for the relationships that we will form with each other and with the people of Jamaica. And finally, pray for the mission field - that the beautiful people of Jamaica would have hearts ready to hear the Gospel, and that eyes would be opened to the goodness and hope that is offered in Jesus! 

To participate in the World Race, I need to fundraise. Over the next few months, I will be fundraising to cover the expenses associated with this trip - international travel, lodging, food, and miscellaneous items. With that said, along with your prayers, I would like to invite you to partner with me financially in this mission. I need to raise $3,750 by May 30th, 2026.
